Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL) is a fully computerized firm with over 160 computers used for the planning, permitting, design and construction phases of our projects.  We have 40 CADD station computers.  CBBEL has used AutoCAD and Microstation for the last 19 years for drafting and design.  Our in-house capabilities include:

The Novell/Windows Network allows all of the printers and plotters to be shared by all of the CBBEL computers.  The network is backed up daily to a 1,500 Terabyte (Tb) tape library system in order to minimize the potential for loss of data.  Monthly system wide backups are stored at an off-site location to provide an additional level of system protection.  Software is installed on the network file server to allow for easy access to the CBBEL programs from any computer.  The network allows any CBBEL computer to be used as a temporary CADD station if one of the dedicated CADD systems fail.  Software currently used includes:
