Chicago Wilderness

The membership of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association are the principals of the major companies in the heavy road, highway and bridge construction industry.  These include not only the contractor firms themselves but those who supply goods and services to this industry.  As the statewide spokesman for the heavy and highway construction industry, the Illinois Road Builders Association is committed to giving the highest level of service to both its members and the motoring public. That service runs the gamut from research to education and training to legislative liaison.

The Chicago Wilderness coalition is an unprecedented partnership of more than 160 public and private organizations that have joined forces to protect, restore and manage the region's natural lands and the plants and animals that inhabit them. The member organizations, and the thousands of volunteers who work with them, are pooling their resources and expertise to study, protect, manage and restore our rich natural heritage. The consortium's mission is to restore the region's natural communities to long term viability, enrich local residents' quality of life, and contribute to the preservation of global biodiversity.  Christopher B.
