Executive Vice President and Head, Civil Engineering Department

Michael E. Kerr, PE, is the head of the Civil Engineering Department and is responsible for all Phase I and Phase II transportation projects and other large municipal projects.  Mr. Kerr has completed projects ranging in construction cost form $500,000 to $25,000,000 for a variety of clients, including IDOT, ISHTA, Lake County DOT, and the Villages of Bensenville, Elmwood Park, Lombard, Palos Park, and Rosemont and the Cities of Darien and Rolling Meadows.  He is familiar with STP, MFT and Block Grant policies and procedures and has frequently coordinated projects for local agencies through IDOT's Bureau of Local Roads and Streets.  Mr. Kerr earned a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Southern Illinois University in 1985.
