Head, Environmental Resources Section I

Thomas G. McArdle leads the Environmental Resources Section I and has over 10 years of experience in natural resource management. He is involved in wetland and natural area assessments, delineations, mitigation design, and maintenance and monitoring compliance for a variety of public and private sector clients. He serves as project manager providing wetland services for the Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, Cook County Highway Department, and Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Responsibilities also include the assessment of site forest resources, development of urban forest plans and coordination with tree removal contractors. Mr. McArdle earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Forest Ecology from Southern Illinois University.
