PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project consisted of intersection improvements to the intersection of IL Route 58 and IL Route 62 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.  This intersection carries approximately 70,000 vehicles per day.  The intersection of IL Route 58 and IL Route 62 was widened and resurfaced to provide dual left turn lanes on the IL Route 62 approaches and IL Route 58 was widened and resurfaced west of IL Route 62 to provide a third through lane both eastbound and westbound.  The existing traffic signal at this intersection was replaced with new traffic signal equipment and the traffic signal will be interconnected to the Golf Road system and the new Meijer Drive traffic signal located south of IL Route 58.
