The Environmental Resources Department at Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. has 13 environmental professionals that make up a multi-disciplinary team representing a wide range of training, education and experience. Our staff has completed more than 3,800 environmental resource projects, more than 1,000 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit applications, and more than 500 wetland mitigation plans. Our staff currently performs management and monitoring for more than 50 wetland mitigation and restoration sites and serves as municipal environmental consultants for 9 communities.

The CBBEL staff has an outstanding reputation for its expertise and experience with projects such as: wetland delineation and permitting, stream restoration, fish and mussel surveys, tree surveys, park enhancements and development, natural area restoration and management, pond and lake management, floristic and wildlife monitoring, invasive species and burn management, urban forestry plans and implementation, and resolution of Corps and county wetland enforcement.

Our staff also are experts in sediment, erosion and compliance with NPDES regulations. CBBEL has numerous staff members who are Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).
