The project consisted of designing rehabilitation improvements for a 21.2 MGD sanitary sewage pumping station owned and operated by the Lake County Public Works Department. The station, which was originally constructed in 1980, has an average flow of 4.5 MGD and a current service population over 40,000. Project improvements included two dry pit submersible raw sewage pumps; two mechanical screening shredders; full electrical rehabilitation; replacement of station air handling, dampers and controls; and new LED lighting.
