CBBEL provided design and construction engineering services to the Village for the demolition and replacement of the Four Flaggs Standpipe Altitude Valve Building. The project consisted of the demolition of the existing concrete underground altitude valve vault and construction of a new altitude valve and piping inside a new building. The new building was constructed of split face concrete masonry unit (CMU) block, wood truss with a standing metal seam roof and a steel rollup door for vehicle access. The project also included new electric service, HVAC, a natural gas standby generator, underground and interior water main piping, fiber optic cable and CCTV surveillance system.
