CBBEL has worked alongside the Lincoln Park Conservancy & Chicago Park District to design the North Pond Rehabilitation project. This project consists of dredging the North Pond at Lincoln Park in order to deepen the pond and create a healthy natural habitat for the animals living in the pond as well as removing many of the dying trees around the pond. Additionally, a polyflocculent liner will be installed along the bottom of the pond to alleviate the water loss currently being experienced. Finally, a new storm system will be installed to help resupply the pond with water so as to lessen the amount of water that is currently being pumped into by the City. This project is expected to be completed over the summer & fall of 2022.
