Our staff has completed more than 6,000 environmental resource projects, more than 3,000 US Army Corps of Engineers permit applications and more than 1,000 wetland mitigation plans.
Our staff of 17 diverse Environmental professionals have completed nearly 7,000 environmental resource projects covering more than 750,000 acres of land, and have obtained more than US Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 permits with accompanying IEPA water quality certifications. The department has designed more than 1,000 wetland mitigation areas covering thousands of acres, with more than 700 acres designed and constructed in the last two years alone. Additionally, staff have designed miles of stream restoration projects. CBBEL has a full suite of equipment to complete wildlife – small mammal, snake, bat, fish and mussel surveys, prescribed burns, brush clearing and prairie, woodland and wetland restoration projects. CBBEL staff completes wetland reviews for a number of communities and is well versed in the completion of Environmental Assessments, Biologic Assessments, and Environmental Impact Statements.
